Samsung Galaxy Note 7 back on the market: price and the difference with the original model
After the withdrawal from the market and the interruption of production because of the well-known overheating problems, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 prepares to return to the market in a re-manufactured version that will be called Note 7R.
According to the latest information, the new Samsung Galaxy Note 7R will arrive in South Korea, marketed by all major mobile operators, from the month of June with a list price of about 570 Euro (the Notes 7 was sold to current exchange rate, approximately 200 Euros more) .
It is a much lower price than the original list price of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and the price of the new Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. Recall that the Korean company is already planning the launch of the future Galaxy Note 8 will represent an evolution S8 top of the current range.
The new Samsung Galaxy Note 7R is then presented as a medium to high-end thanks to the support of the S-Pen and the presence of excellent technical specifications could prompt many users to make the purchase.
Of all the units produced (about 3-4 million), Samsung should revive the market about 300,000 units of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 original which, in recent months, has been subjected to stress tests of all kinds to maximize the level of security and avoid any risk of overheating.
In this regard, the new Samsung Galaxy Note 7R should submit only one difference from the original Notes 7, the battery. The new Samsung phablet reconditioned, in fact, present a 3,200 mAh battery , slightly less roomy than the 3,500 mAh which the Korean company had integrated under the shell of its phablet.
The reduction of the battery capacity will serve to ensure the proper functioning of the smartphone and to avoid possible cases of overheating. The new Samsung Galaxy Note 7R will also rely on Android Nougat in version 7.0 (the certification data that confirm the presence of the new OS version of Google have emerged in recent days) with a custom UI from Samsung, probably identical to one found on the Galaxy S7 upgraded to Nougat.
For the rest, the data sheet remains the same. The new Samsung Galaxy Note 7R will have a Super AMOLED 5.7 inch dual edge display with QHD resolution flanked by the SoC Exynos 8890 and 4 GB of RAM memory as well as 64GB of internal storage.
For the moment there is no information about a possible release of the new Galaxy Note 7R in Italy or, more generally, in Europe. Over the next few weeks could emerge new details to that effect. Stay tuned for more information.
