here are Android software that allow you to use any possibility of Facebook

Android App too heavy on your smartphone? Try alternatives

Some solutions turn out to be the best of the official Facebook app, too slow on low-end devices.

Using Facebook from your Android smartphone or tablet is a fairly common procedure. The official application is present in all stores, which is among the absolute top download. But soon, you may find yourself in trouble. Facebook in mobile version, in fact, has a complete structure that allows each feature already present on the desktop version. If you have a low-end smartphone or used too many apps in the background, installing Facebook for Android could be a very cumbersome presence, through a process of at least 40mb even when you are not using the Social Network. It could therefore affect the speed and clog the device.

However, there are alternatives. There are Android apps that allow you to use any possibility of Facebook, like the official app, or almost. But most importantly, it allow you to connect to social without a hexose use of system resources. And there are many who do not forget to optimize the app for the cheaper device, so prevalent in countries in the developing world. Zuckerberg also noticed it, creating the project Facebook for Every Phone, used even by those who do not only have an old java mobile phone. And that today counts 100 million users worldwide.

Other Android client are produced by third parties and require permits and Facebook Login. And above all, using banner advertisements of properties that inhibit or reduce the effect of ads on Facebook. However, at the time, really deserves consideration, if nothing else, some because they are not thinking at all.

Among the candidates Seesmic, Fast for Facebook and FriendCaster for Facebook: our attention focuses precisely on this, because of its extreme focus on research performance and low resource consumption as well as to maintain maximum usability in any single operation permitted on the social network.

Many users are still using older versions of Android on your mobile

Older versions of Android are likely more vulnerable

Google’s mobile operating system Android has always been accused of too much fragmentation between versions. Today, as every month on time, has presented the results of adaptation to each of the versions that now live in the market. The results are clear: the vast majority of users who use Android are still anchored in one of the older versions, Gingerbread. According to data collected for fourteen days until last January 3, 2013, 47.4% of the users of this operating system have a phone running versions 2.3.3 to 2.3.7, framed within the denomination Gingerbread. And that so far have been released multiple versions like 3.1 Honeycomb, exclusively for tablets, the 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich, and the latest, Jelly Bean 4.1 and 4.2, still very rare in smartphones today.

Many users are still using older versions of Android on your mobile

Firms like the Korean LG have left outdated to many users who are not yet ready to change your device on the other. So no wonder Gingerbread remains for many the first and last version that have phone function.

Android 1.6 Donut (0.2%), 2.1 Eclair (2.4%) and 2.2 Froyo (9.0%) are banned, because of course, only the oldest and first smartphones to hit the market work through these versions. The abandonment of these releases dance on par with the acquisition of new handsets by the vast majority of users who have already launched the world smartphone and want to keep abreast of the latest technologies. Gingerbread still holds the 47.4% of the share, being the version that Android users use. Some of the blame for this impasse is all that many brands have not updated their most classic terminals, either because they have decided to plunge them into disrepair or because they simply do not have the necessary equipment to support the new editions. Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) has gone unnoticed by the history of Android.

Different is the proliferation of devices with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), majority version after Gingerbread. Up to 29.1% of the users work with this edition, as valid for tablets to smartphones. Less substantial is the number of phones that have been able to move to the next version of this chain. We referring, of course, to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Large terminals leading firms, read Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy Note or major flagship Sony Mobile, and are migrating to this new version. Probably why the increase is occurring is clearly significant, with 9%. The edition 4.2 of Android, also named as Jelly Bean, has very few acolytes. At least so far, it is that only Google devices (Nexus 10, Nexus 7, Nexus 4 and Galaxy Nexus) have received and the corresponding update.

Analysis of the new HTC One X

Analysis of the new HTC One X

Thanks to an event organized by the company AT & T in the U.S., that provided the opportunity to test the new mobile Taiwanese company HTC. The HTC One X comes and goes hard to compete directly with the most advanced mobile market: newly launched Samsung Galaxy S III and even the iPhone 4s.

Analysis of the new HTC One X

The first thing that strikes the phone is its 4.7-inch screen that offers a HD resolution (720 ps) and also noted for its clarity (you can view it from any angle without any problem). The device has the latest Android operating system: Android 4.0 Ice Sandwich. All this powered by dual core processor of 1.5 Ghz. In total you have 32 GB built in storage (no possibility of inserting micro SD card).

The HTC One X has a rear camera of 8 megapixels can record High Definition (1080p) video. The transition between camera and recording is fast: only need to press the corresponding button on the screen and instantly take a picture or start recording. You can also take photos while recording. The camera is extremely fast when taking snapshots, which can later tweak easily from the gallery (cutting and adding filters). The front camera is 1.3 megapixels, more than acceptable quality for video calls.

The connectivity offered by the terminal is 4G (LTE) or HSPA +, reaching download speeds reaching 10 times faster than the 3G connectivity offered today. In several tests with the terminal AT & T we have seen huge speed difference compared to HSPA + iPhone 4s. The battery (this time fixing) lasts up to 12 days of standby or eight hours of talk time (capacity of 1800 mAh).

The voice recognition for writing text messages works correctly with english and provides support in other languages with different accents from all those countries that speak those specific languages. The phone also features face recognition: you can unlock the screen to identify and compare your face that you have taken a picture before.

The HTC One X has three front buttons, one to go back home and another button to see which applications have open.

They are definitely moving to the fullest HTC and ready to compete with the current market. Improving the camera relative to the previous HTC is remarkable and the latest Android make things much easier when using the phone. Made of polycarbonate, has a finish that, personally, seems more attractive than the Galaxy SIII. Available in two colors: white and black. A cell phone that also stands out for its lightness: only 130 grams.

MWC 2012: quadcore smartphones will be the big players

It is true that most people will ask, “what are four processors on a phone?” Then taking into account that many are wondering if it will consume even more the question is even more spontaneous. Actually, the new processor Nvidia Tegra 3 for example, uses only the number of processors required by the operations running, in order to maintain balanced consumption of actual usage.

And it is about the Quadcore that the CEO of Nvidia, Jen-Hsun Huang, expressed in a recent interview “It’s like asking the chicken and egg question. If there are still applications that take advantage of quadcore, we can realize quadcore to inspire developers to create them.”

The Android phones of Motorola: Droid 4

Motorola returns with a new smartphone named Droid 4, the phone in question has already transpired in the month of October with some images, but now the manufacturer has revealed its inside features. The new Droid 4 seems an improvement and therefore an update of the now well known Droid 3, with some of the most powerful internal features that adapt to the current high-end smartphone market.

new smartphone named Droid 4

Here are some internal features of this new Droid 4. The physical QWERTY keyboard has been improved. Inside the Droid 4 includes a processor, dual-core 1.2 Ghz, 1 GB of RAM and perhaps more interesting – for the U.S. market – LTE 4G connectivity, which according to the manufacturer, is 10 times faster than Verizon’s 3G. It also has a large 4-inch QHD screen with resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and protection Gorilla Glass. 16 GB of internal memory, an 8 megapixel camera on the back capable of recording video at 1080p, and finally a front camera with 720p recording.

The design of this new Droid 4 is very similar to the above, the screen looks a little more centered with the keyboard and the latter is more visible, with keys clearer and more recognizable. A very clean and appealing design that leaves its mark, attractive and somewhat mysterious in the style of Motorola. It has some lines of the Motorola Razr, but obviously the body is most often due to the sliding keyboard is hidden under the screen once placed. The thickness of the Droid 4 is 12.7 mm.

The battery is 1785 mAh against 1540 mAh, so with a longer life which unfortunately does not specify the manufacturer, even if you can add a few hours on standby and in use than its predecessor.

As for the OS, the smartphone will come with Android 2.3 Gingrerbread, but taking into account the acquisition of Google and work closely with the search giant, upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich is just around the corner.

Finally, Motorola has created a comparison that shows its Droid models to tempt consumers in the U.S. market before the arrival, an arrival scheduled for 8 December.
